Karen Daniels and Clay St. Thomas
We are thrilled to announce that Karen Daniels and Clay St. Thomas of JRFM’s “The Waking Crew” will be our emcees for this stellar evening. The veteran morning duo have been hosting the JRfm Morning Show in Vancouver for more than a decade and consistently have one of the top rated morning programs in the City. In 2013 they were honoured as BC’s Broadcast Performers of the Year at the recent BCAB Awards Gala in Penticton, B.C

Karen recently moved to Vancouver after living in Port Coquitlam for 14 years! She loves to read, try new recipes and recently perfected the recipe for Sangria!

Clay is a dad, husband, broadcaster, actor, guitar picker, chortler, beer snob, and collector of old Waylon vinyl. In his spare time, he stares slack-jawed into the middle distance wondering how it all came to this.

Ken Able
Returning this year to Treasures of Christmas is Ken Abel – a part of the Big City Soul jazz group – showcases some of Vancouver’s finest jazz musicians, covering all spectrums of the music scene. Visit their website at

Dr. Strangelove
BC’s most well-known and loved 6-piece dance band, DR STRANGELOVE has become a Vancouver music and entertainment icon over the past two decades.

They have managed to remain on the cutting edge of the city’s live music scene by bouncing effortlessly between styles as distinctly different as The Beatles to Lady Gaga. Their ability to constantly re-invent themselves musically to suit the tastes of the audience of “that” moment, stems from their deep desire and dedication to always be more than a live jukebox. Visit their website at
